This Customer Privacy Policy Statement, issued pursuant to Articles 13-14 of GDPR 2016/679, is provided by Studio Moretto Group Srl, located at Via Cefalonia 70, 25124 Brescia, Italy, with tax code and VAT number 02936070982, and its subsidiaries, branches and affiliates (hereinafter collectively referred to as SMG).

In relation to the information SMG will obtain and to protect individuals and other parties regarding the processing of personal data, we inform you of the following:
Purpose of processing
The personal data you provide will be used to perform the requested services, document them, fulfil legal obligations, assess your satisfaction, provide necessary information for the performance of services or promotional communications, and exercise the right to legal defence.
Processing methods
The processing of personal data involves the use of secure physical and digital systems. SMG employs appropriately trained staff in data protection, carefully selected in countries and contexts to ensure proficiency in the required language, technical skills, timely availability, and all necessary conditions for the proper execution of services.
Data provision
If you request translation or text processing services, please ensure that any personal data of third parties is encrypted or otherwise concealed. If this is not possible and you want SMG’s European and non-European staff to refrain from viewing such data, you must highlight it in the text and inform SMG in writing to keep it hidden during translation and processing, acknowledging that these actions involve additional costs and time for SMG.
Data communication and dissemination
The provided data may be communicated to professionals or specialised firms, such as legal consultants, accountants, or translation companies, who are bound by SMG’s security provisions and GDPR requirements, as well as to entities whose right to access data is recognised by provisions of law and secondary legislation or provisions issued by legitimated authorities. In order to provide high-quality multilingual services, SMG employs native speakers in EU and non-EU countries, contractually obligating them to protect data at a level comparable to GDPR standards.
Data retention
Data will be stored indefinitely using technologically secure systems to comply with regulations requiring data retention (e.g., tax declarations) and to exercise the right to legal defence in case of disputes.
To improve the quality of the service and exercise the right to legal defence, SMG archives texts, translations, and data indefinitely, also protecting them in encrypted electronic storage systems. Customers have the right to request the deletion of their personal data at any time.

- right to rectification and deletion of your data;
- right to erasure or restriction of processing of your data;
- right to portability of personal data, that is, to receive your data from a data controller in a structured , commonly used, and machine-readable format, and transmit it to another data controller without hindrance;
- right to object to the processing at any time, including for direct marketing purposes;
- right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
- right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority.
Consent to data processing for necessary purposes
Your consent to the processing of personal data is required in order for SMG to fulfil the following necessary purposes: to perform services (e.g., to make deliveries to your representatives and contact them if necessary), invoice them, document them, comply with legal requirements, assess your satisfaction with the services received to improve quality and address any complaints, provide necessary information for the execution of services and exercise legal defence in case of disputes. In these cases, your consent is implicit upon signing the contract with SMG, as refusal to process your personal data would make it impossible for SMG to fulfil its contractual and legal obligations.
