Translation services for the woodworking industry

We provide translations and multilingual specialist support for technical documentation for furniture factories and fittings manufacturers.

Our linguistic experience in the woodworking sector began in the late 90s, when we provided translation and simultaneous interpretation services for design institutes and companies exhibiting at the Salone del Mobile (Furniture Fair) in Milan. Thus, we began compiling our internal glossary for the sector, addressing the many issues, still present at an international level, of harmonising the terminology of the wood sector.

• Woodworking machines: translation of technical manuals of woodworking machines, such as millers, moulders, drills, planing mills, boring machines, etc.;
• Furniture factories: translation of furniture catalogues and bathroom accessories, kitchen furniture, garden and bedroom furniture, sofas and designer furniture. At the end of the 90s, we began to translate for the luxury sector, especially for the Arab and Russian market;
• Restoration: an area of interest for our company is that of the translation of books and publications on the restoration and conservation of wooden artefacts. We provide linguistic assistance for restoration schools and fine arts institutes.
